HRIS Integration

Automate onboarding and offboarding by connecting your HRIS provider.

Overview

CVSEEYOU integrates with popular HRIS providers like BambooHR and Gusto to automatically sync your employee directory. This enables automated workflows for:

  • Onboarding: Automatically send policy acceptance requests to new hires.
  • Offboarding: Trigger access revocation tasks when an employee is terminated.
  • Access Reviews: Maintain an up-to-date list of active personnel for quarterly access reviews.

Connecting BambooHR

To connect BambooHR, you will need an API Key and your subdomain.

  1. Log in to your BambooHR account.
  2. Click on your profile photo and select API Keys.
  3. Click Add New Key to generate a secret key.
  4. In CVSEEYOU, go to HRIS Integration.
  5. Select BambooHR and enter your subdomain (e.g., `company` for `company.bamboohr.com`) and the API Key.
  6. Click Connect.

Connecting Gusto

To connect Gusto, you will need to generate an API Token.

  1. Log in to your Gusto developer portal.
  2. Create a new application or use an existing one.
  3. Generate an Access Token with `employees:read` scope.
  4. In CVSEEYOU, go to HRIS Integration.
  5. Select Gusto and enter the Access Token.
  6. Click Connect.

Syncing & Privacy

CVSEEYOU syncs your directory every 24 hours. You can also trigger a manual sync from the HRIS page.

Privacy Note: All Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as names and emails are encrypted at rest in our database using AES-256 encryption.
